Why Editing Matters
Editing defines a photographer's style. There are so many styles and just having the right exposure and being in focus is not enough. This gallery below shows different editing styles by different photographers.
What are RAW files?
Professional photographers set their DSLR cameras to take RAW photos. RAW images aren't the same as your usual JPEG images. They contain more information to be used for editing. RAW images are not a good representation of a final product. It captures more bits per pixel than JPEG files do. RAW is the unprocessed file while JPEG processes the file and throws out information which makes it lose detail in the shadows, highlights, and the definition (thus making it less clear).
